HorrorClix tournament date changed!

The date for the HorrorClix tournament has changed! It will now be Friday 1 September at 6:00.

A floor board creaks. A gate squeaks. A chainsaw roars to life. Scream….while you can.  Get ready for wicked fun. It is on the way!

Welcome to the next revolution in collectable miniature gaming – HorrorClix. HorrorClix places players firmly in the action, suspense and excitement of a horror movie. Players assemble teams of monsters from across the horror spectrum — including vampires, zombies and werewolves. Do you choose to protect the innocent? Or go on a monstrous rampage? HorrorClix uses plot twist cards, a heavy emphasis on scenario play and new character cards to explode the boundaries of CMGs and the patented Clix system.

HorrorClix raises the bar for all miniatures games by shifting the game focus from hack-and-slash combat to inventive scenario- and story-based play. Additionally, it uses the combat dial to provide literally hundreds of tailor-made supernatural powers and abilities. Character cards flesh out each monster with fiction and detailed explanations of each creature's capabilities, including mechanics never before seen in miniatures games!

We are now accepting preorders for HorrorClix. You will be guaranteed your order when it comes out and you get a discount!

We will also be having a Sealed Booster Release Event on Friday 1 September at 6:00. There will be a $15 entry fee.  You will have a chance to win a limited edition 1800 point Cthulhu figure (pictured below). Standing almost 16-inches tall at the wings, Great Cthulhu towers over all other figures, inspiring a mixture of awe and terror that is most appropriate in the presence of an Ancient One. Crafted by sculptor Brian Dugas, Great Cthulhu is one of the most intricately detailed Clix pieces ever created. Working from Lovecraft’s description of Cthulhu in the short story “The Call of Cthulhu,” Dugas mixed elements from many different sources to create the sculpture. Most notable was his use of real pieces of sea creatures (including shrimp and crab) for various parts of Cthulhu The overall look of the sculpture is, therefore, very organic—you can almost smell the brine......

This figure can be yours! Come to the HorrorClix release event!
